STAYING IN THE KLEIN KAROO

Accommodation is provided at a carefully selected 4-star lodge in the Klein Karoo, offering both comfort and an authentic safari setting.

Guests are accommodated in either luxury glamping tents or well-appointed log cabins, depending on availability. Preferences can be requested when booking, and we will always do our best to accommodate your choice.

The glamping tents offer a unique bush experience, featuring en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, comfortable beds, electricity, fans, Wi-Fi, and mini fridges. Each tent is positioned to provide privacy and a peaceful connection to the surrounding landscape, with covered parking nearby.

The log cabins provide a more traditional lodge-style stay and are fully equipped for self-catering. Each cabin includes an en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor braai area, and covered parking. Wildlife is often seen moving freely around the cabins, adding to the authentic safari experience.

Regardless of your accommodation, you can expect a high standard of comfort throughout your stay.

CAMP LIFE & ATMOSPHERE

Life on safari is relaxed, social, and centered around the rhythm of the day’s hunt. With a focus on smaller, private groups, the experience feels personal and exclusive.

Hunters are typically separated from day visitors, allowing for a more private and uninterrupted safari environment. Between hunts, guests can unwind, take in the views, or simply enjoy the quiet surroundings of the Klein Karoo.

DINING EXPERIENCE

As a guest, you will enjoy wholesome, traditional meals prepared with care, including a variety of venison specialities and South African favourites.

Meals are served in a relaxed and social setting, often shared with fellow guests after a day in the field.

Lunches can either be enjoyed in camp or packed for a full day out hunting.

Snacks and soft drinks are available throughout the day, and selected beverages, including local wines, are included. All dietary requirements are catered for to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

EVENINGS ON SAFARI

Evenings are a highlight of the safari experience. After the hunt, if time allows, guests can enjoy sundowners before gathering around the fire. Nights are typically spent in a social setting, sharing stories from the day, enjoying good food, and getting to know fellow hunters.

The combination of open skies, firelight, and the sounds of the bush creates a memorable and distinctly African atmosphere.

FOR OUR NON-HUNTERS

While hunting is central to the experience, there is more to enjoy during your stay.

Non-hunting guests are welcome and can relax at the lodge, join game drives, or explore nearby attractions. The Klein Karoo offers a unique setting for both adventure and relaxation, making it an enjoyable experience for all guests.
